You will view mountains in this gallery photographed from The Blue Ridge Parkway fairly close to the Asheville NC area.
Other photos were captured at lake Powhatan near Bent Creek in Asheville, NC.
And there are a few mountain photographs taken at Max Patch on the Appalachian Trail not too far from Hot Springs, NC.
They are all part of the Blue Ridge chains of the Appalachians.
